The Thailand islands are an exotic destination with superb white sand beaches, fine hotels and high class services.

Their geographical situation offers them a tropical clime and rich, luxuriant vegetation.

The best beaches from Samui are situated on the Eastern and Northern Coasts, the most popular being Lamai and Chaweng where you can find the most attractive accommodation. The island has beaches and other attractions such as the Na Muang and the Hin Lat waterfalls, formations of rocks at the Southern end of the Lamai Bay, a massive Buddha sitting, the image of the Na Thon and Fan islands,

in the place where the most of the stores are, restaurants, touristic agencies and hotels.The Mu Koh Angthong National Park has about 40 Thailand Islands in the North-West part of Koh Samui, with a surface of 250 square kilometres.

The islands of an important park, masses of green rocks surrounded by clean waters, includes Mae Koh which has a superb lake with salt water of the emerald colour called Thale Nai;

 

the residency of the park where the accommodation for the visitors is available – Wua Talap, Sam Sai with a coral reef and an arch of huge stone and Phai Lusk.

 

A small island, Koh Tae Nai, is very loved by tourists due to its natural beauties. The hills covered with jungle, large beaches with golden sand, vigorous coral reefs surrounded by fish of all sizes and colours, are one of the major attractions. 

 

On the island you can stay in bungalows. The transport is made with the passengers’ ships or cargos that live from Surat Thani through Samui. The big island Koh Phanga is situated at 60 minutes in the Koh Samui’s Northern part, it has an attractive waterfall. It also has Nam Tok Phaeng, Nam Tok Than Sadet, a park and an extended coral reef. Koh Nang Yuan and Koh Tao are two small rocky islands situated from the administrative point of view under Amphoe Koh Phangan, in the North-West part of Koh Phangan. Intact and unvisited lately, the islands won their popularity due to their underwater resources, .

The cheaper to get to Koh Tao is to take the ship that goes from Sur Phnagan and Koh Phangan. You can also embark for Koh Tao from Tha Yang Pier, Chumphon.
